Jamadoba a small hamlet located in the Jharia Block of Dhanbad lies at a distance of nearly 141 kms from the State Capital of Ranchi. The town cordinates at 23.72°N 86.4°E. This city is Dhanbad Block at the Northern side, while the Baliapur Block is surrounded towards the East, as well as the Govindpur Block and Raghunathpur-Ii Block at the Eastern side. There are many cities that surrounds Jamadoba, which are namely the Gomoh, the Bokaro Steel City, and Chandrapura.

There is very limited accommodation facility provided to the tourists. So, it is better to make arrangements to stay in the nearby cities like Dhanbad. Transportation in Jamadoba

Transportation in Jamadoba is a found to be bit difficult, as there are no direct transportation means to reach this remote pace. There is neither the direct flight, nor the bus or train. However, one can move to the nearest airport, railway station or bus stop and pick the taxi or any other vehicles to reach Jamadoba. Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Gaya (Bihar) are said to be the nearest Airports, which are just 116 kms and 189 kms respectively.While, you can travel through regular trains via Bhaga Railway junction, Karkend and Dhanbad Railway stations to Jamadoba. In case, you wish to travel by bus, you must get down at Dhanbad, which is just 8 kms away from the city of Jamadoba, else choose Bokaro that is 30 kms from the city.
